roger_park_200 Dr. Park holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics with business minor from Sogang University, Seoul, Korea, and a master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. He also received his doctorate degree in Sport Management with Applied Research Method and Statistics minor from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, Colorado. Dr. Park will be teaching ethical/legal aspects in sport, sport technology, sport promotion, research methods and statistics, and sport facility management at the graduate as well as undergraduate levels at Gonzaga University.

Dr. Park has published more than 40 articles in professional journals, Sport Marketing Quarterly, International Journal of Sport Management, International Journal of Sport Management and Marketing,International Journal of Business and Social Sciences, Sport Management International Journal, Journal of Kinesiology and Wellness, and Net Journal of Social Science, and ICHPER-SD Journal of Research. He also made more than 40 presentations at international and national professional conferences including, North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM), European Association for Sport Management (EASM), Sport Marketing Association (SMA), Taiwan Association for Sport Management (TASSM), and Western Society of Kinesiology and Wellness Conference. He was also invited to the International Sport Industry Forum, 77th Sport Industry Forum, and 2014 Global Sport Industry Symposium as a speaker and panelist in 2014. 

Dr. Park received research grants ($15,000) from the Academy of Korean Studies (2012-2013) and Research Council of Gonzaga University (2013-2014). He currently serves as a reviewer of Journal of Sports Science and Journal of Kinesiology and Wellness and also participates in the Western Society of Kinesiology and Wellness as a Washington State Representative. His research interest includes sport sponsorship, sport analytics, and cross-cultural studies in sport.
