My primary area of research has been to examine how exercise promotes beneficial adaptations in cardiac muscle. While at Gonzaga, I have supervised a number undergraduate research projects in a variety of areas, including cardiorespiratory changes during the human dive reflex as well as the effects of exercise on cognitive function and memory.
