Professional Experience

Earecka Tregenza is an active performer throughout the Pacific Northwest, both as a soloist and orchestral musician. Ms. Tregenza joined the Spokane Symphony as Principal Harp in 2008 and also performs as a substitute principal and extra harpist with the Seattle Symphony, Seattle Opera and the Pacific Northwest Ballet. She can also regularly heard with her husband, SSO violinist Jason Moody, as a part of Duo Zephyr.

Ms. Tregenza has traveled extensively throughout Europe and North America as a soloist and orchestral harpist.  She has performed as a guest principal harp with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, New World Symphony and as a second harp with the Houston Symphony. Highlights of her orchestral career include symphony and chamber opera performances with conductors Lorin Maazel, James Levine, Leonard Slatkin, Peter Oundjian, Robert Spano, Oliver Knussen and Roberto Abbado.

Ms. Tregenza has accepted numerous fellowships to perform at summer festivals around the world, including the Tanglewood Music Center, National Orchestral Institute, Aldeburgh Festival, Youth Orchestra of the Americas, Rome Festival, Round-Top Festival Institute and the Texas Music Festival. In recognition of excellence in solo performance, Ms. Tregenza was a recipient of the Alice Chalifoux Prize and a finalist in the ASTA/NSOA National Solo Competition.
