Dr. Robert Waterman; Department Chair 2001-2004, Associate Professor. Degrees from University of California at Berkeley: B.A. 1965, M.A. 1966, Ph.D. 1978. Multifaceted formative teaching experience with the "world's best fellow TA's" including two stints in two interdisciplinary programs: History and Literature, Social Sciences. Came to Gonzaga in 1981 because of the emphasis here on excellent teaching, especially the compelling examples in the Political Science Department. Teaches courses about political philosophy (introductory, 20th century, participatory democracy), public administration, and Latin American politics. Member of the International Studies Program.
