Research

As an assistant professor at Alliant International University, I conducted psychological research on multicultural issues. I also supported doctoral level students with their dissertation research on several topics, including mental health and minority populations. Since 2000, I have been collaborating on an extensive, cross cultural research project to study the influence of culture on personality structure. The principal investigator for this funded research is Dr. Timothy Church at Washington State University.

I also collaborate with Dr. Edward Hoffman, Yeshiva University, New York, investigating peak experiences and the role of positive psychology on human development.

I continue supervising doctoral dissertations with students from Alliant International University on a limited basis as dissertation committee member.
