Amanda Howard-Phillips
Education
Amanda Howard-Phillips was awarded a Master's Degree in Violin Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music following a Bachelor's Degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she studied with Camilla Wicks.
She has studied chamber music with several prominent chamber musicians including Mark Sokol, Peter Salaff, the Cavani Quartet, Paul Hersh, Ian Swensen and Bonnie Hampton.
In addition, Amanda was awarded fellowships to study at the National Repertory Orchestra and the International Festival-Institute at Round Top. She took first prize at the Pacific Chamber Symphony Concerto Competition in San Francisco.
