Amanda Howard-Phillips
Professional Experience
Amanda Howard-Phillips joined the Spokane Symphony in 2003 and awarded the position of principal second violin in 2008. She also performs as associate concertmaster of the Northwest Bach Festival Orchestra and Coeur d'Alene Opera Orchestra.
Amanda has performed solo concertos with the Spokane Symphony, the Pacific Chamber Symphony (San Francisco) and the Bainbridge Orchestra. In addition, she plays second violin in the Spokane String Quartet and performs with the Oregon Coast Music Festival.
Recent highlights include being featured on the National Public Radio show "Performance Today", and performing Tchaikovsky's Souvenir de Florence with Grammy-winning cellist Zuill Bailiey as part of the Northwest Bach Festival.
